A short belly dance performance usually 5 -10 minutes.
Belly dance performance
Amala Gameela will dance the first segment of the performance with a couple props (veil, finger cymbals, sword, cane, candles, candelabra, wings –which ever suit you and your event the best). The second segment of the performance will be focused on audience participation especially your guest of honor (if you have one). She is sure to entice you to join her in a dance and get your guests on their feet with a smile!
Belly dance performance and lesson
This package is perfect for baby showers, bridal showers, and “hen” parties. Amala Gameela will perform for you and teach you some belly dancing basics. She will even bring veils and hip wraps for you and your friends to shimmy in! This package is usually 45 minutes.
Weddings
Amala Gameela will be happy to coordinate costuming, props, and music to make your special day perfect. She can also perform a traditional zeffa where she leads the bride and groom out while balancing a candelabra (shamadan).

Performances range from 15 -45 minutes.
Is the belly dance appropriate for children?
YES, in fact, your little one may join Amala Gameela for a hip twist or two! Amala Gameela only performs friendly and family oriented shows (NOT bachelor parties or all male gatherings).
Will she bring her own music?
Yes, Amala Gameela will provide her own music on a CD. The client is responsible for providing an appropriate sound system to play the CD at the event. She normally performs to a mix of classical Middle Eastern and Middle Eastern pop music but will be glad to alter her music to suit your event including live band requests.
Is tipping appropriate?
Yes, unless the client has requested otherwise Amala Gameela will accept tips sprinkled over her head in a “money shower” or in a basket or hat provided by the client.
How much does a belly dance performance cost?
The cost depends on the type of performance requested, the length of the performance, and the distance. A 50% deposit is required to reserve your event date and time.
